Design West Architect's Salt Lake City office is hiring a Architectural Designer / BIM Modeler.

The perfect architectural designer / BIM modeler candidate will be involved in coordinating and producing construction documents, yet aspires to become more. They aren't afraid of on-the-job training and will work diligently with our knowledgeable staff to learn about the whole project rather than just drawing lines. Perhaps they are studying for the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) and want a community of peers to help them grow and learn more. They have good communications skills and are client-service and team oriented. They welcome collaboration yet accept ownership of assignments and follow through with attention to detail. Education Requirements:

2-year Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD)

Required Experience:

2-4 years of professional drafting experience
Autodesk REVIT (BIM Modeling)
Microsoft Office

Design West Architect's Salt Lake City office is hiring a Marketing Intern / Receptionist.

Have you ever wanted to know more about marketing and the inner workings of an architecture firm? Now’s your chance! Design West Architects is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern / Receptionist to join our Marketing Team in the Salt Lake office.

You will help with daily administrative operations of the firm and help Design West win work. We seek someone able to excel at a variety of office support tasks, and who also wants to “learn the ropes” of marketing.

Responsibilities include:

Perform administrative duties and provide daily support for Architectural office staff
Assist Marketing Team in general marketing activities including proposal content and production, social media, mailings and updating marketing CRM database
Answer multi-line telephone system and general reception duties including interacting with clients and coworkers in a professional and friendly manner
Assist Accounting Team with simple accounting duties (process contracts & invoices)
Occasional delivery/pickup

Ability to think and work independently
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

Experience:

Degree in communications/marketing preferred
1-2 years experience in marketing-related field preferred
