New Special Service District

Jordanelle Special Service District was operating their administration services out of their water treatment plant. Those who were paying water bills had to navigate through the noisy, outdated and dusty facility to do so.

​

Jordanelle SSD hired Design West to design a new administration facility that would provide a modern, clean and welcoming environment for both customers and administrative staff. Design West worked with the Jordanelle Special Service District and its stakeholders to design a facility which meets their current needs while allowing opportunities for adaptation and growth in the future. Their new facility provides a welcoming lobby, flexible conference spaces, an open office design and administration offices. A unique aspect of the building is its aesthetic ability to blend in with the mostly residential buildings in its immediate surroundings.

Design West is proud to have had less than 1% change orders on this project. This cost control success is the result of clear communication with the District and rigorous quality control with key engineering consultants which helped keep the project to such a controlled budget.
