New School Design

Replacing the aging existing elementary on the same site was a challenge, but gave the design team the opportunity to complement the site’s rural community vernacular. The unique retro / traditional exterior design was a response to support the community of Lewiston’s desire to provide a building aesthetic that would “feel right” in the town.

​

The Lewiston school was designed to be warm and inviting while promoting a safer environment and a real and a heightened perception of a high level of safety and control.
