Metal Building

RIAC 1 Maintenance Hanger was completed as a design/build effort at Dugway Proving Grounds. The 12,800 sf maintenance building consists primarily of a metal building with a 120’ sliding door to allow access for aircraft requiring maintenance as well as a 20’ overhead door and various man doors for building access. The building contains a fire riser room, communications room and two restrooms.

 

Due to limited development in the area, the water and electrical system had to be extended to service the new building. Primary power with a 3-phase pad mount transformer and new 8” water lines were needed.
